Daria Veg is the published author of many children’s stories and is also a teacher and librarian which brings her many ideas for writing. She was inspired to write her newest release, Touch of an Angel, a picture book about angels watching over a young family at Christmas time, by her own experience with the birth of her youngest daughter.

When Daria writes a story, she becomes immersed in the world of her characters, talking to them and feeling as if they are alive. This emotion and authenticity shines through in her storytelling and she hopes her young readers come away knowing there is hope through faith in difficult situations and that this stays with them long after the book is closed.

When she isn’t writing inspiring stories for children, Daria enjoys spending time with her partner, dancing, traveling, walking, and reading. She has two daughters, Zana and Anja, and lives in Croatia with her cat.
